What We Do
Exterior Stucco
Hard-coat stucco is applied in three coats, scratch, brown and finish, over a prepared substrate. It is fire-resistant, pest-resistant and low-maintenance, and its density makes a natural sound barrier. Much of our commercial work, like the Lakeland Retail Plaza, is completed in exterior stucco.
EIFS(Exterior Insulation & Finishing Systems)
EIFS puts a continuous layer of insulation outside the wall, with a drainage plane behind it and a finish that can stand in for brick, stone or wood. We are one of only three AWCI EIFSmart Contractors in Florida, and every one of our employees is an EIFSmart Professional. The Florida Southern College admissions building in Lakeland was an EIFS project.
Finishes and Textures
Smooth, sand, lace and dash. Smooth reads modern and shows every imperfection; lace and dash conceal the substrate and wear better on high-traffic elevations. We finish to the texture the architect specified, as on Royal Townhomes in St. Petersburg.
Stucco and EIFS Together
Many buildings need both systems: EIFS where insulation and shape matter, hard-coat stucco where impact resistance does. One crew doing both keeps the details between them tight. Wesley Chapel Retail used both.
